The following is a list of known cheat codes and other developer Easter eggs.
Adam Dance[]
In a lovely memory of Zoos Victoria's employees.[1]
Flexicoloured Species[]
In connection with the first of April 2021.[2]
Giving and Taking Balloons[]
Naming any guest on your Zoo "SelenaM" will give a balloon to every guest in the zoo. Conversely, naming any guest in your Zoo "JayC" will cause all guests to release their balloons.[3]
Jholthausen[]
Like in Planet Coaster, naming a guest "Jholthausen" will cause all guests in the park to receive an impulse that sends them into the air and then temporarily enables ragdoll physics.
Love is in the air[]
Naming any animal on your Zoo "MontseC" will spawn love hearts during the mating animation. This cheat code is named after Senior UI Designer Montse Carne and was first revealed during 2020 Valentine's Day.[4]
More Floof Animals[]
If you name an animal "MeggieB" it will increase their "plushiness". This cheatcode is named after Programmer Megan and was first revealed in a official Planet Zoo stream in january.[5]
Playing with Physics[]
Naming any animal on your Zoo "DaveBamber" will allow you to interact with objects by clicking on them.[6]
Tegid- and Phillycam[]
- Naming a staff member or guest "Tegidcam" allowed you to wander around in guest view.
- This is a reference to the same cheat code on Planet Coaster.
- This cheat code was retired as of the 1.9 Update. You can now always wander in guest mode.
- Naming an animal "Phillycam" will allow the same to be done, though through the eyes of the animal in question.
