Challenge Mode is one of the playable game modes featured in Planet Zoo. Like Franchise Mode, you get to create your own zoo from scratch with limited money and Conservation Credits.
Gameplay[]
Unlike Franchise Mode, the Economy and Trading systems are completely offline, so some animals may take some time to appear or reappear in the Animal Market. This mode was created as an alternative to those who didn't want to interact with other players.
Additionally, all of the research cannot be transferred to separate challenge zoos, and must be manually unlocked again.
Create a new zoo[]
Challenge Maps
Player can either choose to create a zoo from the start, or from existing Career Scenarios layout.
Create from start[]
- Choosing Biome:
- Choosing Continent: Any continent have the Biome.
- Choosing Game Difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard.
- Choosing Terrain Type: Flat, Sculpted (not include Diorama)
- Player name the zoo.
- You start with $40,000 and 300 Conservation Points each time.
Create from Scenario[]
- Choosing Scenario:
- Player can pick a scenario that player can access (owning and finish previous scenarios).
- Choosing if its terrain only, or include buildings and habitats.
- Choosing Game Difficulty: Easy, Medium, Hard.
- Player name the zoo.
